Australian footwear brand Frankie4 has opened its first permanent retail store in the US, at the Bellevue Collection in Washington.
The podiatrist-founded footwear retailer has nine stores in Australia and decided to open the Washington store after the success of its pop-up store at the Bellevue Square last spring and summer.
The 1844sqft store, designed by JPC Architects, features live plants and a curated collection of coffee table books by renowned Australian photographer, Kara Rosenlund.
“Heel pain (plantar fasciitis) is extremely common in women and can be debilitating. Frankie4 exists because living with painful feet is not ‘normal’, and making the change to good-for-you, supportive footwear is a simple solution for so many,” said Frankie4’s CEO Hilary McMillan.
“Our footwear has helped hundreds of thousands of women, and we look forward to helping many more women in our flagship US store.”
Frankie4 is worn by celebrities including Nina Dobrev, Jennifer Garner, Aubrey Plaza, Emma Roberts, and Naomi Watts.
