Woman transforms grotty 1980s’ caravan into chic space perfect for 2023 – people can’t believe it’s the same vehicle
A SAVVY couple have revealed their journey of turning a grotty 1980s caravan into an incredible home on wheels.
Manon took to her social media account to share the transformation, from what it looked like when they first bought it to its completed look.
It initially had brown laminate floors with a wooden bench on the inside, but they managed to get it looking like a paradise tiny home in no time.
They first built a bed frame at the rear of the caravan, before also making a seating area.
The couple then painted the wooden furniture inside, including the seats, walls and cupboards – bringing a fresh look to the space.
They then decked the seats with some grey cushions and got the table made, too.
It was then time for them to sort out the flooring, which they did by installing light-coloured wood.
All that was left was the decorating, which they showed off in their final update.
They added a Macrame hanging piece to the doorway, plenty of plants and a coat hanger, too.
“In March, we bought a caravan and decided to renovate the whole thing,” TikTok user @manonelize wrote.
“After months of hard work it’s finally done and we love how it turned out.”
People were quick to comment after being left impressed with the work they put into the caravan.
One person said: “Nice!” as another shared: “Ooooo weare thinking of doing this with a van!!”
Tagging a pal, another person said: “look, camping can also be done in your own house, completely tailored to your own taste”.
“Yep, this is fantastic,” another wrote, while a fifth added: “It looks so different!”
