A POLICE e-fit of a crook who robbed a woman in London is a dead ringer for an England football star – but can you guess who?
The suspect is wanted after a lone woman was robbed in an alleyway in Twickenham, South West London, at 8.15pm on October 26.
Cops shared an e-fit of the alleged robber, who has blonde hair, blue eyes and a long face with a goatee – just like a certain Three Lions hero.
One local said: “Has Harry Kane been eliminated from your enquiries?”
Another said: “I thought he’d moved to Germany.”
A third said: “He should have never left Spurs.”
There is no suggestion that former Tottenham star Kane was involved in the alleged incident.
Richmond Police said: “On 26th October 2023 between 2000 – 2030hrs, a lone female was robbed in an alley off Twickenham Riverside.
“We are asking for anyone who could identify the person from this EFIT image.
“Please call us on 101 (ref 0711737/23) with any assistance.”
It comes after Kane was booked for DIVING against Malta on Friday.
But Three Lions fans were left wondering why VAR didn’t intervene, with some calling it a “stonewall penalty.”
Kane saw yellow in the 30th minute after a collision with the opposition goalie at Wembley on Friday night.
Henry Bonello came rushing out as Kane attempted to dribble the ball past him.
And there appeared to be contact as Malta’s stopper dived into Kane’s feet.
The Bayern Munich star collapsed to the ground, waving his arms in protest as he awaited the ref’s whistle for a penalty.
But official Luis Godinho saw things differently.
Instead of blowing for a spot-kick, he instead walked towards Kane with his arms pointed.
Godinho then produced a yellow card and held it to Kane’s face, leaving the England skipper in shock.
Three Lions teammates quickly gathered round to protest their captain’s innocence.
And replays suggest they had a fair point to make too.
Slow motion footage appeared to show that Kane’s foot was indeed caught by Malta’s goalie, forcing him to go the ground.
Despite VAR being active at the match, it did not intervene in Godinho’s ultimate decision.
