Donald Trump on Saturday took a detour from his regular stump speech to insult Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) during his Iowa rally.
Trump, speaking at the Iowa Commit to Caucus event in Fort Dodge, was talking about his time in office when he said Iowa senators would come ask him for things and he would "take care of it for them."
"I don't know what they have done for me but these are minor details, right? There's no quid pro quo right?" Trump asked the crowd. He added, "Remember that?"

"Adam 'Shifty' Schiff with a net like a pencil. I said, how does he hold up that fat ugly face with a neck -- a pencil neck? Pencil neck is what we call him. What a dishonest guy," Trump said Saturday. Schiff was the lead prosecutor in the ex-president's first impeachment trial.
"They said, sir, what's worse, business people or politicians? I said business people are much tougher. That was after a week. Now I say it's not even a contest. Politicians are the worst. They are disloyal -- many are crooked. Politicians are worse than businesspeople. Businesspeople are babies. They are babies, innocent lambs compared to politicians. You don't have Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam 'Shifty' Schiff," the ex-president added.
