Rihanna was seen on Friday arriving at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix held in Las Vegas. The race will take place on Sunday following a mishap with Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz striking a loose water valve cover in FP1, which caused the session to halt abruptly after only eight minutes.
The “Diamonds” singer stepped out in a pair of platform black and white suede Puma sneakers. The footwear was crafted from black and white suede and leather uppers, white striped detailing on the sides, and black lace-up closures.
Thick rubber platform soles in brown finished the set, taking the pair to the next level and offering Rihanna’s look a rather lofty boost.
Accompanying her suede footwear, Rihanna wore an oversized black cropped bomber jacket layered overtop a red and black Chicago Bulls jersey. The sporty jersey was tucked into a black maxi skirt fitted with a variety of pockets.
Rihanna’s collaboration with Puma dates back to 2015, with the two brands releasing several shoe silhouettes and apparel designs over the next two years. The FN cover star stepped away from the brand to focus her efforts elsewhere before returning in September 2023.
For Rihanna, no shoe is too bold — or heel too high. The “Rated R” musician has worn many shoes over the years, including sky-high heels and chunky sneakers. Rihanna’s red carpet styles often include strappy sandals, platforms and pointed-toe pumps by Muaddi, Prada and Tom Ford that coordinate with her outfits. Her off-duty styles also include similarly daring sandals and boots by Celine, Givenchy and Saint Laurent.
However, she’s also known for wearing statement sneakers by New Balance, Nike and Puma. Aside from her repertoire of stylish shoes, Rihanna’s also successfully launched her Savage X Fenty, Fenty Beauty and Fenty labels in the fashion and beauty industries.
