A criminal in Uttar Pradesh, India, who posed as a police officer to rob people, has been apprehended after two encounters with the police. Jitendra Parihar was first arrested on November 10 but managed to escape from custody while being treated at a hospital. After a massive search operation, he was re-arrested on November 13. The police received a tip-off about his whereabouts and surrounded him, resulting in another encounter where he was shot in the leg and arrested again.
