"The manner in which deepfake is spreading in this age of AI poses a big threat. A big section of the populace does not have a parallel system for verification or authentication of the same. Since the struggle for Independence, whichever issue the media has espoused has enjoyed certain credibility and respect," Modi said at a BJP Diwali Milan for journalists here on Friday.
