A MAFS UK star has opened up about the show’s “fight night” – insisting there were horrible scenes that weren’t shown on TV.
It was previously revealed that Luke Worley was axed from Married at First Sight UK after punching Jordan Gayle.
Now Jordan’s show bride Erica Roberts has revealed the extent of the bust-up.
She said: “ As soon as it happened, my initial reaction was I was in complete and utter shock – I couldn’t actually believe it had just happened.
“As soon as the cameras had left the room, it was just me and Jordan and we had welfare there with us as well. I completely broke down.”
Speaking to Johnny Seifert on Secure The Insecure Podcast, Erica continued: “[Luke] was proper, like, punching into him.
“Jordan couldn’t do anything. It was as if he was, he had his hands tied behind his back.
I think he knew ‘if I throw a punch here, if I get aggressive, I’m gone’, and he didn’t want it to get to that. It was just awful to see your partner in that kind of situation.”
Erica added that seeing Luke afterwards “triggered” her and left her feeling “extremely panicky”.
Luke – who branded Jordan a “f****** scumbag” after being dropped from the show – was paired with Jay Howard for the experiment, with them both leaving after the fight.
A show insider told MailOnline: “Luke and Jordan struggled to get along from the moment they met, but no one was expecting them to clash like they eventually did.
“The cast attend a couples’ retreat and during dinner things got particularly heated between them and later they come to blows inside Jordan’s apartment.”
