Report: Tottenham centre-back target is expected to transfer in January
Football Insider have reported that Fulham expect rumoured Tottenham target Tosin Adarabioyo to leave the club in January.
It has been reported by various different outlets over the past few weeks that signing a centre-back is one of Ange Postecoglou’s top priorities when the transfer window opens mid-season (GiveMeSport).
90 min claimed a couple of weeks ago that one of the central defenders on Tottenham’s radar is Adarabioyo, with the report alleging that the North London club have continued to monitor the 25-year-old’s situation after their failed summer move for the player.
The Cottagers star has been out with a groin injury since the start of the season, having made just one appearance so far in 2023-24, and his contract at the West London club runs out next summer (Transfermarkt).
Adarabioyo will likely leave Fulham amid Spurs links
According to Football Insider’s latest update, the expectation at Craven Cottage is that the defender will depart the club in January.
In fact, it is alleged that Marco Silva’s men have already started exploring the market for a centre-back to replace Adarabioyo in January.

It is anybody’s guess at this point who Tottenham’s top centre-back targets are for January. It is possible that the club have not settled on their top two or three names just yet, given that the Spurs recruitment department has just been revamped.
