SPARE a thought for poor old JAMIE VARDY.
Not content with humiliating him in the silliest high court battle of the century against Coleen Rooney — and racking up a £3million-plus bill in the process — his delusional wife Becky is now rubbing salt in the wound with a string of costly exotic holidays and lavish lifestyle choices which are understandably raising eyebrows among pals.
Becky Vardy has been splashing out on lavish holidays including a trip to Portugal[/caption] Becky posed naked on a Las Vegas balcony earlier this month[/caption] Becky partied with pal Amber Wise in Dubai in October[/caption]Jamie is heading into the final stages of his career at Leicester City, now in the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League last year, with the former England striker spending much of his time shivering on the bench in such glamorous hotspots as Rotherham, Blackburn and, this weekend, Middlesborough.
And while Becky was a regular fixture at his Premier League games, where she enjoyed the full Wag treatment, I’m told she is much less interested in trekking along to second-tier football.
Instead, she has thrown herself into a new party-hard lifestyle while he sits in the pouring rain on a Tuesday night.
As one pal tells me: “He must be tearing his hair out.
“It’s like she’s learnt nothing — their legal bills are astronomical and she just flaunts her wealth and glamorous holidays.”
Recent indulgences Becky has posted online include a trip to Las Vegas with friends, where she enjoyed VIP tickets to watch Adele and Usher’s residencies, along with seats at Magic Mike Live.
She also posed naked on the balcony of her suite at the luxurious five-star Cosmopolitan overlooking the strip.
On the same trip she was pictured getting a tattoo.
Three weeks earlier she had jetted to Dubai, with friends saying she wanted to avoid rival Coleen’s Disney+ documentary about their trial.
While there, she posed for more photographs at a luxury hotel.
In August she posted photographs of a five-star trip to Portugal.
During the Wagatha Christie trial, lawyers for Coleen complained Becky had asked for extra time to pay her bills.
When she was in Portugal Jamie was getting to grips with the new season, the last of his two-year contract, so his future is up in the air.
The pal added: “He’s desperately fighting to keep going and earning big money while she blows it almost as quickly as he can make it, and he’s at the end of his deal.
“She seems to have no concept of how much money she has cost them and what that actually means.”
I did a quick bit of maths for her.
Jamie earns £140,000 a week, just over £7million a year, but half of that will go in tax.
That means if he didn’t spend another penny this year he’d still only just be able to pay the costs of her absurd trial — and they already have an expensive lifestyle.
Which means the poor bloke is going to have to find himself a very well-paid new deal for next season and beyond, and probably keep playing until he’s about 53.
If I was Jamie’s agent, I’d be straight on the phone to the hugely lucrative new Saudi Arabian league asking whether he could jet over there for megabucks alongside fellow former Premier League stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Jordan Henderson and Steven Gerrard, who is now a manager.
They’d pay him plenty , and Becky would have to keep herself out of trouble for once.
Win win.
Jamie s heading into the final stages of his career at Leicester City[/caption]AFTER nine weeks of training and two months teetotal, Radio 2’s Vernon Kay today begins his mammoth ultramarathon Children In Need challenge, which will see him running 110miles over four days.
He is travelling from Leicester to his hometown of Bolton in one of the station’s physically toughest fundraisers to date.

“As well as doing 110-plus miles, the elevations we’re doing are quite high.
“I’ve got three and a half suitcases full of all the clothes I might need for all weathers.
“I’ve got more underpants than a man could ever dream of and Vaseline for my nipples and everywhere else.
“I’ve heard about crotch rot, when you get damp and carry on running, so I’m ready for anything.”
Vernon is being cheered on from home by his wife Tess Daly, who raised more than £1million with her Strictly co-star Claudia Winkleman after dancing for 24 hours straight.
Vernon said: “Tess told me, ‘You’re mad doing that’.
“She did the 24-hour danceathon and her calves and back gave her a load of gip even a year after, so she was adamant
“I have to look after myself.”

I’VE long grown tired of the constant cycle of superhero movies – and now audiences seem to be feeling the same.
The latest, The Marvels, made just £38million in its first weekend in the US, the lowest opening for any movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Analyst David A Gross said: “This is an unprecedented Marvel box office collapse.”
The new film, also starring Zawe Ashton, is believed to have suffered from the actors’ strike, which has only just ended and meant the actors couldn’t promote it on chat shows nor in other interviews.
It also got lukewarm reviews from critics.
It has a long way to go to make up the whopping £179million spent on making it.
THE BEATLES could score the chart double this Friday as they are on course to to get the No1 album.

Only 1,000 sales behind is their second greatest hits record, 1962-1966, known as the Red Album, which reached No3,, also in 1973.
A boxset of both albums is climbig the charts too, sitting at No9 last night.
Even 63 years after forming, there’s no stopping them.
KENDALL JENNER chose this ridiculously impractical gear for two snowy scenes.
The supermodel munched on her snowman companion’s carrot nose while wearing a silver boob tube and matching miniskirt.
Though I suppose they were fur lined. In another snap for the festive campaign for French fashion label Jacquemus – shot against the backdrop of palm trees and sun-filled skies – she wore a red crop top while lying in a lorry filled with snow.
Kendall, dating Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, 29, can be seen in the new series of her family’s reality show The Kardashians.
Given he daft winter clothing, I can’t see her on Ski Sunday any time soon.
SLIPKNOT’s ex-drummer Jay Weinberg has said he is “heartbroken and blindsided” to have been unceremoniously axed from the group after a decade.
The heavy metal band said out of the blue this month that he would no longer be part of the group due to creative differences.
Now he has told he is still reeling from the decision.
He wrote on Instagram: “I was heartbroken and blindsided to receive the phone call that I did on November 5th, the news of which most of you learned shortly after.
“However, I’ve been overwhelmed by – and truly grateful for – the outpouring of love and support I’ve received from this incredible community I consider to be my creative and artistic home.”
