All the signs Denise Van Outen had split with boyfriend Jimmy after 18 months together
DENISE Van Outen has stunned fans with her shock split with boyfriend Jimmy Barba – but there were secret signs that the break-up was brewing.
The Sun exclusively revealed earlier tonight that the pair have gone their separate ways.
The star told us: “We have decided to part ways but we remain great friends and our families and children are still in touch.”
After an amicable split, Denise and Jimmy still follow each other on social media and have kept loved-up snaps together on their profiles
But looking at their social media, there has been a noticeable absence of them together.
Before their split, they appeared to be inseparable and posed together on numerous red carpets and posted cosy images of themselves on holidays.
However, Jimmy’s last post of a picture of Denise came more than six weeks ago, while Denise’s was on August 14.
Since then, neither of them have posted anything of the other.
Instead, Denise has shared lots of snaps of herself as she appears to have been busy throwing herself into work – DJing and presenting on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
The TV personality started dating the property developer Jimmy after her split from long-time partner Eddie Boxshall, who she was with for seven years.
The couple went public when they hit the red carpet together at the 12th annual Grand Prix Ball in June 2022.
Just a couple of months ago, Denise spoke about her “good relationship” with Jimmy and how she had managed to find trust with him.
She told The Sun: “I am in a really good relationship now. Jimmy is lovely!’
Denise added of the friends that set them up: “I was introduced to him via my friends who I have known for the best part of my life.
“I didn’t think I needed to get him vetted. I knew they were never going to set me up with someone who I couldn’t trust.
“I knew they wouldn’t do that to me and he knows too many people.”
Their relationship comes after Denise was left heartbroken last year when she found out her then boyfriend Eddie Boxshall had been messaging other women.
Eddie, who started dating Denise in 2014, admitted swapping up to 20 sex texts behind her back.
