BOBBY Berk has announced his departure from Queer Eye.
Bobby, 42, admitted his decision to quit was difficult after six years.
He explained his exit in a lengthy Instagram post: “The love that I have received from you all over the last 6 years has been absolutely surreal.
“You have tuned in and been dedicated fans and together we were able to share the healing powers of design.
The Netflix star continued: “I learned from you all about kindness, love, and acceptance, and that has changed my life for the better.
“The way you have embraced me and accepted me for who I am is something that l will truly carry with me for the rest of my life.”
Bobby thanked the audience: “Throughout these years, you, the die-hard fans of Queer Eye, have all shared so many stories with me about how the show has touched your lives and I could not be more grateful to each and every one of you for being brave enough to share your experiences.”
The Queer Eye star concluded: “It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that season 8 will be my final season on Queer Eye.
“It’s not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one. Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not.
“You will be seeing more of me very soon.”
The photo collection included behind-the-scenes photos with co-hosts Tan France, 40, Karamo Brown, 43, and Antoni Porowski, 39.
Season 8 has not been officially confirmed by Netflix yet, according to IMDB.
The program is expected to return due to its popularity.
Queer Eye, which is a a reboot of Bravo’s Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, has been on Netflix since 2018.
Heartbroken fans jumped online to X, formerly known as Twitter, and wished farewell to the TV personality.
One fan said: “Bobby! I am excited for your next chapter and wish for you all possible success.”
Another fan added: “All of you taught me so much.
“I have been through difficult times and queer eye was always a show that made me feel better, even though I have shed a lot of tears.
“Thank you Bobby. Looking forward to follow you on your next steps.”
A third fan chimed: “You are in so many ways the heartbeat of the show.
“While you’re not the biggest personality, your work is so powerful and speaks for itself.
“:You will be missed but your impact is forever!!
Outside of the series, Bobby has worked on remodeling an entire home, workspace, or even restaurant.
Although his net worth is higher than most of the cast, he has only published one book.
The TV star is also widely known as a successful interior designer.
