Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers accomplished their goal of sweeping a three game home stand, downing Merritt last night. They put a four game win streak on the line tonight as they kick off a 3 game road swing starting in Salmon Arm.

Last Game: The Vipers jumped out to an early 4-0 lead 24 minutes into their game Friday night against Merritt. Isaac Tremblay had a pair of goals, while Anthony Cliche and Owen Kim also had goals. That lead would hold up as Ethan David shut the door the rest of the way to earn the 4-2 victory.

Cole Longacre, Ty Paisley, JJ Monteiro and Jacob Bonkowski had goals for Salmon Arm. Ryan Grout turned aside 26 of 27 for his fourth win of the season. The leagues best penalty kill was 2 for 2 while their powerplay was 0 for 2.
This is the third of nine head to head meeting this season. Each team has a win, SA with a 3-2 win in the season opener, then a 5-3 win by the Vipers at Kal Tire Place.
