As part of an extensive report on looking for Melania Trump, the Washington Post stumbled upon a wealthy funeral home owner from New Jersey who revealed some embarrassing details about former President Donald Trump.
In an interview with the Post, Dan Leber explained that he loves Mar-a-Lago, having visited a few times with a late friend.
“Have you seen it?” he said of the country club. “It’s spectacular.”
Leber also revealed that he had many great stories to tell about his visits to Mar-a-Lago.
He recalled shaking Mike Tyson's hand on one occasion. Other incidents were more humiliating to former President Trump, however.
"Another time he saw Donald Trump win a pro-am doubles tennis tournament," the Post reported.
“The pro was running all over the court making all the shots, totally covering Donald’s ass,” said Leber. The Post said that the man voted for Trump and intends to do so again.
"Afterward, he remembers Melania running over to give her husband a big, celebratory hug in front of everyone," the report said.
He called rumors about the former first couple being on the outs "fan fiction."
