This year, as every year, thousands of people will gather around the National War Memorial in Ottawa to pay tribute to those who served in the Canadian Armed Forces and other units. While attention will be focused there, not far away, on the west side of the Mackenzie King Bridge, is a
smaller memorial to those who served Canada during the Korean War. It was cast from the same mold originally used to cast a statue in the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Busan, where 376 Canadians are buried.
