The Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha, India, is facing a human-animal conflict due to the unsustainable growth of the crocodile population. Unusually large saltwater crocodiles, measuring up to 23 feet, have been forced to venture as far as 100 km from their habitat in search of food. This has resulted in six deaths over the past six months and a total of 50 since 2013.
