Donald Trump's former spokesperson, Kayleigh McEnany, is furious over a sketch of her former boss on the witness stand in court Monday.
The sketch in question did appear to picture Trump as thinner than his real-life figure and also featured his trademark gesture, with his wrists together and hands spread wide.
McEnany, however, told her Fox colleagues it was "a travesty."
Speaking on "The Five," she told Trump to "keep doing what he’s doing. I mean, look, I would advise them to ask for a better sketch artist because that does not look like my former boss there.”
His posture is somewhat slumped and his head tilted. Indeed, the face was trimmer, there was no pronounced double chin and crease at the base of his neck. His face wasn't the orange tone other sketches have shown.
After attacking the trial as "a travesty of justice," she called the sketch "a travesty too. It looks nothing like Trump."
When Trump was arrested in Fulton County, he described himself as weighing just 215 pounds and said he was 6'3" tall. Fact-checkers disputed it, showing photos of other individuals next to Trump whose height and weight were also reported to Fulton County.
A previous courtroom sketch from June drew criticism because it made Trump look about 40 or 50 years younger.
"That courtroom sketch artist was feeling very generous," The Lincoln Project commented at the time.
Trump isn't the only member of his family to have apparent sketch-artist grips, as when it was time for Donald Trump Jr. to appear in court, he begged the sketch artist to make him look "sexy."
