Fans watched on as Good Morning Britain star Alex Beresford and his father, Noel, were crowned the champions of the programme after a tense race to the finish line.

The show proved a runaway success and a ratings hit which prompted BBC chiefs to recommission the programme for another go-around.
Upon its premiere earlier this year, the first episode drew in an average of 6.2million viewers – becoming the joint highest rated episode of the franchise along with the premiere episode of series three of the civilian version.
It marked the show as the most-watched factual entertainment show of the year on the Beeb.
Just weeks ago, fans watched on the edge of their seats as three of the four teams raced to be crowned the champion.
Alongside weatherman Alex and his dad, All Saints performer Mel Blatt and her mum along with McFly star Harry Judd and his mum all made it to the final stage of the race.
Kicking off in Morocco, the teams had to venture across a whole host of European countries before ending up in Tromso in Norway.
Former racing driver Billy Monger and his sister Bonnie were forced to quit the programme with just one leg to go owing to a family emergency at home.
Tim Harcourt, Creative Director of the show’s production company Studio Lambert said: “Audiences seem pleased that the
difficult and disarming undertaking of the Race was not watered down for well-known personalities and their loved ones.
“We are thrilled to be making another series for the BBC.”
No names for the programme have been revealed for the second series at present but show bosses are likely to have a wealth of stars jumping at the chance to sign up following its impressive first run.
