According to a video released by Just Stop Oil, two protesters can be seen shattering the glass of the painting, also known as The Toilet of Venus, before addressing the onlookers. In the video, a female activist asserts, "Women did not attain the right to vote solely through voting. It's time for action, not mere words. It's time to put an end to oil." The male protesters chimed in, saying, "The political system is letting us down. It failed women in 1914. The consequences of new oil and gas licenses will result in the loss of millions of lives."
