November 5 – The boss of Brazilian football Ednaldo Rodrigues has been ratified as a member of the FIFA Council following a decision at the Conmebol Congress.
Rodrigues (pictured) succeeded fellow Brazilian Fernando Sarney in the Council earlier this year at the 73rd FIFA Congress in Kigali, Rwanda, but his position was only ratified by continental body Conmebol on Friday at its Congress on the eve of the Copa Libertadores final.
Sarney has previously felt that Rodrigues betrayed him in a disingenuous fashion.
