A BEAUTY influencer has shared her favorite products that she says allow her to catfish like a pro.
She credited her look to mascara and a product that took her to a completely different level.
Emily (@emazza) shared the video with over 1.1 million TikTok followers.
The content creator showed off her bare face, launching into a thorough explanation of her process.”
How to Catfish like a pro baby, more to come because honestly, this is just the makeup but more goes into the process for SURE,” she said.
She started off with primer, covering her entire face before moving onto NYX Brow Glue, $10: “Once I started using this, I hit a new level of hot,” she said.
“I hit an entirely new level of hot I didn’t know I could actually hit,” she emphasized.
After brushing her brows up with the glue, she went in with a brow pencil and filled in sparse areas.
Moving onto base makeup, she picked her foundation based on her mood: “I will pick between these two, this is the Naked Skin and this is the e.l.f. Halo Glow,” she said.
Using a beauty sponge, she blended in the product and added the Juvia’s Place concealer, $14.
Her technique was the most important part of the entire process: “This part is important when I blend out the concealer, I literally drag it down my nose, that’s the primary thing I’m doing with it,” she said.
For contour, her product of preference was the Tarte Shape Tape, $31 as she blended it down her forehead: “This isn’t a runway, this is a forehead,” she joked.
Emily loaded up the e.l.f Putty Blush, $7, on a brush: “Wham bam thank you ma’am, I get so much on the brush and then I just bounce it on my face,” she said.
“My favorite thing to do is make sure I get a little but under the ender-eye but none over here,” she said, pointing directly under her eyes.
To set her makeup, she used the Hourglass Veil Translucent Powder, $49 and finished off her eye makeup with the BareMinerals powder, $25.
“When you’re dragging it, drag it out towards your temple,” she said, pulling the brown “eyeshadow” out.
After curling her lashes, she revealed her secret weapon — the iT Cosmetics Superhero mascara, $28: “Literally the best mascara I’ve ever tried, what do they put in this?” she asked.
People took to the comments to share their thoughts on her routine: “LITERALLY YES MY FAV MASCARA EVER,” said one commenter.
Others didn’t think she was a catfish at all: “Not a true catfish because girl you’re enhancing that natural beauty. So pretty!” said a fan.
“You’re not a catfish when you’re already gorgeous babe you’re farthest from a catfish at least in my eyes lol,” agreed another.
