Rutgers is playing its biggest home game of the year on Saturday, hosting No. 1 Ohio State with a chance to pull off the massive upset. So, the Scarlet Knights are pulling out all the stops to try and gain an edge in the game.
Down 7–0 and facing a fourth-and-1 at midfield, Rutgers went for it and called a trick play, intentionally fumbling to try and confuse the defense. Not only did the play work, but Kyle Monangai ran the ball all the way down inside the 15-yard line to set the Scarlet Knights offense up in the red zone.

The play itself appeared to be a modified fumblerooski, as Rutgers faked the popular “Tush Push” to draw the defense in, then bouncing the ball outside for a big gain.
As the highlight hit social media, fans loved Rutgers’s creativity while facing a powerhouse team like Ohio State.
Got to tip the hat here. Truly a thing of beauty https://t.co/0DM4te9blf

Rutgers kicked a field goal on the drive, then added six more points before halftime to enter the break up 9–7 on Ohio State. However the game ends, the Scarlet Knights can know that they used their entire playbook to try and take down the Buckeyes.
