SHE is usually rapping about sex and twerking, but now Megan Thee Stallion has shocked fans by dropping an incredibly moving and personal track in which she opens up about battling depression.
The WAP singer has had a tough few years after being shot in the foot, losing her mum to cancer and fighting a legal battle with her record label, which she candidly revealed led to her having thoughts of self-harm and turning to alcohol.
On the song Cobra, which came out yesterday, Megan raps: “Every night I cried, I almost died. And nobody close tried to stop me.
“Long as everybody getting paid, right?”
She adds: “At night, I’m sitting in a dark room thinking.
“Probably why I always end up drinking.
“Yes, I’m very depressed. How can somebody so blessed wanna slit they wrist?
“S**t, I’d probably bleed out some Pinot.”
In particularly explicit lyrics, she sings about a partner cheating on her and raps: “Damn, I got problems.
“Never thought a b***h like me would ever hit rock bottom.
“Man, I miss my parents, way too anxious, always cancel my plans.”
I just hope this is a wake-up call for those around her and Megan gets the help she needs.
MICHELLE KEEGAN enjoyed a night on the tiles, rocking clothes from her own fashion range.

So I had to check out Fraser T Smith’s band Future Utopia as they played hipster hotspot Oslo in East London.
The gig, which was the final night of the band’s UK tour, saw them play tracks from their recent EP We Were We Still Are, including my personal favourite Make It Home.
Unlike many of the 18 No1 albums in the UK Fraser has contributed to, Future Utopia specialise in breezy electronic dance music, which would sound perfect at 3am in a corner of Glastonbury Festival.
Even in a smaller venue than his collaborators, it’s easy to see why the likes of Stormzy and Dave have him on speed-dial.
RISING star Caity Baser draped herself in car L-plates to announce her new mixtape and biggest tour to date.
The Southampton-born singer will play a 13-date tour across the UK and Ireland next spring and has pledged to keep her tickets affordable during the cost-of-living crisis.
It will be preceded by her 14-track mixtape Still Learning, out on March 15, and she has just dropped the first song from it, I Love Making Bad Boys Cry.
She said: “My shows have been crazy – within a year I’ve gone from playing my first show to 150 people, to huge sold out shows, massive festival main stages, everyone shouting back all the lyrics to me, which is still crazy to think about.
“But it’s only made me want to go bigger and better for this tour.”

EURYTHMICS star Dave Stewart has cast doubt on Annie Lennox playing live as part of the band ever again, telling me: “Annie has stopped touring.”
In an exclusive chat, Dave – who is heading out on the road to celebrate the 40th anniversary of hit album Sweet Dreams – said that while he still enjoyed a live crowd, Annie had closed down talk of performing with the group.
Dave said: “I’m going on tour in about five days.
“Not with Annie.
“I am playing all the Eurythmics songs with an eight-piece girl band.
“Annie’s stopped touring.”
He released eight albums with Annie as part of the group, with their last studio record, Peace, landing in 1999.
COLDPLAY have asked fans to sing on their next single, One World.
The song will feature on upcoming album Moon Music, set to drop early next year.
Taking to Instagram, the band said: “We have nearly finished Moon Music.
“If you’d like to be on it too, you could add your voice to a song called One World.
“All you have to do is record yourself singing ‘Ahhhhh’ for a few seconds at oneworld.coldplay.com.”
As well as a new record, the lads are touring Europe yet again next year.
