Leicester have been imperious this season in their bid to get straight back up to the Premier League following relegation.
They have won 13 of their opening 14 Championship games and are being backed to break records on their way back to the top tier at the end of the campaign.
Leeds are sitting third in the table but are a mammoth 14 points behind league leaders Leicester.
Maresca is insistent that the Leeds game is no bigger than the QPR fixture for his side and Fryatt conceded that it is definitely a bigger game for Leeds than Leicester.
He feels the rest of the Championship will focus on this game as it could signal that Leicester are going to run away with the league if they win tonight.
The former Foxes star stressed that Leeds are a good team who will attack the home side and he is expecting an entertaining affair at the King Power Stadium.
Fryatt said on the BBC’s When You’re Smiling Podcast: “It’s bigger than the QPR game but it’s a bigger game for Leeds than Leicester, just for the division’s sake.
“It will be an entertaining one and it should be a cracking atmosphere.
“They will approach it in a similar fashion to how Sunderland did; Leeds will try to be on the front foot but there is space to avoid in the full-back positions and I think the wide men can take advantage of that.
“It will be a great advertisement for Championship football.”
Leeds are going into the game on the back of four wins out of their last five Championship games.
