EMMERDALE fans have been left ‘in shock’ as Craig Reed’s killer was finally revealed – and NOBODY saw the culprit coming.
The evil businessman was found dead in a field on Home Farm and this week’s episodes have focused on the Dingle family, who were summoned to the pub for questioning by Lydia, who Craig raped.

Fingers mostly pointed at Cain Dingle, who admitted tying Craig up in a warehouse along with Lydia’s husband Sam.
The pair originally said they let Craig go at Lydia’s request, but in tonight’s episode, they revealed they went after him again.
Sam got to unleash his fury at what Craig had done to his wife, punching him to the ground and hitting him multiple times while Cain watched on.
Back at the pub, Sam emotionally confessed that he must have killed Craig with his punches, but Cain was adamant he couldn’t hand himself in to the police.
However, as the hour long episode continued, it became clear that something else had happened to Craig, as Cain continued to act shiftily and get half-brother Caleb to give him an alibi in another flashback scene.
Meanwhile, the episode also saw Kim Tate and her husband Will being questioned about the fact Craig was found on their land.
Mid-way through the interview, Kim asked the detective about her missing horse, before she had her own flashback which saw her out riding her stud, Ice.
Kim and Ice came across the wounded Craig, who begged for help, but Kim told him: “If you think I’m your knight in shining armour come to rescue you, you’re sadly mistaken, now move!”
As the horse moved towards him, he grabbed for the reins, and Ice panicked before rearing up and kicking Craig to the ground.
Kim told Craig to get up, but the villain lay motionless on the floor, and when she rolled him over, he was barely breathing.
In the final moments of the episode, Cain was then seen speaking to someone on the phone, thanking them for their help.
In a final flashback, Cain was seen arriving next to Kim, having witnessed Ice hit Craig, and stopping her from calling an ambulance.
He said: “Maybe you did us both a favour, perhaps I should be thanking you.”
As they discussed how the police would react if she called them, Cain told her: “We’re both suspects and you know it, accident or not.
“We leave him be, go our separate ways. We just make sure we’ve got water tight alibis. Come on, do this for Lydia and Sam, they’re the victims in this, not him.”
He continued: “Kim please, I’ve never asked you for anything but I’m begging you, just walk away, pretend this never happened.”
They were both seen walking off in different directions as Craig’s breathing became even more shallow, before Kim later released Ice out into the woods on his own as part of her alibi.
Emmerdale viewers were stunned to discover Craig had been killed by the horse, and not a human.
Taking to social media, one wrote: “Will they not notice it was a horse hoof.”
Another added: “This is the most sensationalised issue-based storyline I think I’ve ever watched. The most ridiculous whodunnit reveal ever, and NOT in a good way.”
A third tweeted: “Omg. The horse genuinely looked sooooo sad as it trotted off.”
Meanwhile a fourth shared: “Well no one guessed the horse. I feel guilty for blaming the cows now.”
Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
