Donald Trump isn’t exactly loving how his New York business fraud trial is going, and he’s not hiding his displeasure. On Wednesday, the former president made sure to voice his opinions on Truth Social ahead of his oldest son, Donald Trump Jr.’s first day on the stand.
He’s not allowed to rant and rave about anyone on Jude Arthur Engoron’s staff due to the partial gag order, so Donald Trump reserved his anger for the justice and New York State Attorney General Letitia James. The “unhinged rant,” as described by OK! magazine, is exactly what you would expect from the former president at this point — he’s lashing out wherever and whenever he can because things aren’t going his way.
“Letitia James before Trump and developer Hating Judge, Arthur Engoron, which should have never been brought in that the so-called STAR WITNESS, SleazeBag Lawyer (for many people) Michael Cohen, admitted last week on the stand that he LIED, and also that your favorite President, Donald J. Trump, or anyone from the Trump Organization, NEVER TOLD HIM TO INFLATE VALUES ON FINANCIAL STATEMENTS, the opposite of what he told the A.G. in order to get this HOAX started,” he wrote on his social media site. “Therefore, on that fact alone, this Fake Case should be dismissed.”
Buy: Raising Trump ‘Raising Trump’ $12.70Donald Trump went on and on about the valuations of his real estate portfolio before taking a surprising turn. He actually spoke in a very paternal way, something the public rarely sees from him. “The Banks and Insurance Companies were paid in full, no defaults, they all made money, and there is no Victim (except me!),” he wrote. “Leave my children alone, Engoron. You are a disgrace to the legal profession!” It’s unusual to for the former president to show his papa-bear side, but it’s probably because he hates the idea of his three eldest children having to testify against him. It’s a rough consequence for his alleged actions.
