THERE has been a recent cosmetic boom with many people opting for tweakments on their faces and bodies.
According to The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons women underwent 93 per cent of all cosmetic procedures recorded in 2022, a rise of 101 per cent from 2021.
And according to Dr Torgerson, there has been a huge boom in lip fillers and injections in younger generations looking to modify their lips to achieve a more plump look.
But in some cases people are regretting their decision to opt for a more filled out look.
Some celebrities including Molly-Mae Hague and Kylie Jenner have also previously announced that they had their filler removed to opt for the more natural look.
The hash tag #lipfillerremoval also has 12.1 Million views on TikTok, with many sharing their journeys of getting their lips back to their normal and natural size.
One beauty fan in particular is has gone viral with her journey, gaining over 550k views and likes.
She revealed through a timeline of pictures how she looked after having the procedure done.
In some of the pictures the beauty fan’s lips are extremely swollen.
According to the London Lip Clinic, they claim: “Lip fillers typically break down over time due to naturally occurring hyaluronidase.
“When filler dissolving is required, concentrated doses of hyaluronidase are injected into the lips.
“The injections break down the hyaluronic acid in the lip filler. This is then disposed of by the body’s natural systems.”
This process appears to have caused swelling to Sami, which she documented on her TikTok page.
She even claimed to look like TV star Kris Jenner, after she got an allergic reaction whilst on a family vacation in.
The episode aired July 1 2012.
Sami’s video attracted over 1,000 people commenting their thoughts.
One wrote: “How much filler did you have?? I had 1 syringe done like a year ago and it wouldn’t go away.
“When I dissolved it I did NOT have this reaction. Maybe.”

A third said: “Girl I had this too! It’s 100% an allergic reaction! They’re meant to swell but not THIS MUCH.”
According to experts, swelling is normal.
The London Lip Clinic website states: “There are not many side-effects associated with lip filler dissolving treatment.
“It’s relatively common to experience some swelling in the area that was treated. This can last up to a few days post-treatment.”
