Vernon, BC: The Vipers returned home after a long hiatus and certainly didn’t disappoint the home town crowd as they ramped up a 10-2 victory over the Cranbrook Bucks.
It was an outpouring of offense as Adam Csabi and Nick Mikan registered hat tricks. Hank Cleaves led the way offensively with four assists. Noah Dorey and Lukas McCloskey scored their first goals as Vipers. Erik Pastro had a goal and two assists, while George Stavrianeas, Luke Bibby each tallied a pair of assists.
Ethan David made 12 saves in the first period and finished the night with 34 saves on 36 shots.
The Vipers powerplay was 1 for 2, while killing off both Cranbrook powerplays.
Jaxon Fuder led the way for Cranbrook, he had a pair of goals.
Carter Capton had 3 saves on 3 shots before giving way to Danick Leroux who finished with 22 saves on 29 shots.
The Vipers homestand continues Friday night when they host the Prince George Spruce Kings at 7pm.
