A Ministry of Corporate Affairs’ October 3 notification exempted all transactions and agreements related to aircraft, their engines, and helicopters from mandatory moratorium during a bankruptcy process under IBC. The amendment was significant in view of the National Company Law Tribunal on May 10 given the Go First airline a blanket moratorium to shield it from lessors and creditors as per the Code.
