NEW YORK, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar increased in late trading on Wednesday, as the U.S. Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged at the range of 5.25-5.5 percent.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, increased 0.22 percent to 106.8894 in late trading.
