John Cena posts pic of Cucurella as Chelsea fans say ‘everyone’s laughing at us’.. but is there more than meets the eye?
WWE superstar John Cena bizarrely shared a picture of Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella on Instagram.
But there is more to the story than many Blues fans realise.
Cena, 46, shared the snap on his social media without any caption or explanation.
This led some Chelsea supporters to think he was mocking the club.
That is because he shared it just one hour after Mauricio Pochettino’s men lost 2-0 at home to Brentford.
One fan believed they knew why he posted it, saying: “Because he [Cucurella] was invisible during Chelsea-Brentford.”
Another added: “Everyone’s laughing at us.”
While a third replied: “Even he is laughing at our club.”
However, Cena’s post actually seems to be in response to quotes from Cucurella earlier this week.
The Spaniard named Cena as the actor he would most like to play him in a film.

Elaborating on his choice, he added: “I’ve always liked his combats and his career in WWE.”
Cena has begun appearing in Hollywood films in recent years after two decades in the WWE.
And while he has continued to perform for the wresting organisation, he is now just as well known for being in films such as “Fast & Furious” and “Daddy’s Home”.
