The Clippers have added Luke Buss from the Vernon Vipers in a trade that saw Luke Bibby go to the Vipers. Luke Buss hails from Columbus, Ohio, and is a 20-year-old, 5'11", 185 lb. forward.
So far this season in 9 games he has scored 2 goals and has 6 assists for 8 points. Last season he played for the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL, where he scored 7 goals and had 14 assists for 21 points. In the 2021-22 season, he was with the Vernon Vipers where he scored 16 goals and had 20 assists for 36 points.
The Clippers' coaching staff had this to say on the trade. “Let’s just reference a very tough move to make. It’s a chance for us to really take a step with a great player. Bibby was great but the last time Buss was in this league he led his team in scoring. As we add Buss, DeTurris and Westling into the line-up we look to make a real push in the standings”.
