Insiders Claim Britney Spears' Memoir Has Thrown This Ex’s Family 'Into Chaos'
Following Britney Spears’ bombshell claims that she aborted a pregnancy over 20 years ago, her high-profile ex-boyfriend is dealing with the fallout from a decision they allegedly made together when they were barely more than teens.
In her upcoming memoir The Woman in Me (set to release on October 24), Spears reveals she became pregnant in 2000 while she and Justin Timberlake were in a relationship. The iconic popstar duo dated from 1999 to 2002, and at the time of their alleged pregnancy, both singers were just 19 years old.
Spears’ memoir claims they made a joint decision to opt for an abortion, and that it left her feeling “haunted” before she eventually welcomed two sons in 2005 and 2006 with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. Timberlake, for his part, went on to marry actress Jessica Biel in 2012, and they became parents to two of their own sons in 2015 and 2020.
According to a report published by The Sun, a source claimed, “Justin owns who he was when he and Britney were together, even though his personality, career, lifestyle, and personal priorities are radically different now, 20 years later.” They continued, “This book is a nightmare for him because of how it throws the whole family into chaos.”
In addition to rocking his personal life, the insider revealed the bombshell is causing turmoil in Timberlake’s professional life. “The timing stings just as much as the revelation itself,” they shared, explaining, “Justin had a big fall planned with new music on deck, more work with his old friends in *NSYNC, and of course, the next installment of the Trolls franchise, which has been a huge moneymaker for Justin over the last several years.”
With the full story yet to come out, the entertainment multi-hyphenate is surely preparing to weather the storm once the “Oops I Did It Again” singer’s memoir flies off the shelves into the hands of the public.
