Supermarket shoppers go wild about ‘fab price’ pre-lit Christmas trees – and they’re the cheapest around
SUPERMARKET shoppers are going wild for “fabulously-priced” pre-lit Christmas trees.
Brits are starting to plan their Christmas decorations with the festive season on the horizon.
And many super-organised families are already shopping around for gifts, trees and ornaments to decorate their home for the celebrations.
Now Tesco shoppers have spotted a pre-lit Christmas tree available in some of its UK stores.
The “Luxury 6.5ft Pre-lit Winter Pine Tree” is on sale for £70.
And the price is even cheaper at £55 for shoppers with a Tesco Clubcard.
Similar pre-lit Christmas trees cost up to hundreds of pounds at other UK shops.
The 6.5ft Pre-Lit Frosted Scotch Pine Artificial Christmas Tree is available for £24.99 at The Range. Another similar tree is on sale for £175 at B&Q.
Hundreds of people have voiced their interest in the tree after one shopper shared a photo online.
The shopper also shared pictures of a Luxury 6.5ft Cone & Berry Tree and a 6ft Evergreen Tree available for just £20, or £15 on a Tesco Clubcard.
It’s possible that the item might not be available in all stores – so you might want to call ahead to check and avoid a wasted trip.
Retailers often introduce big discounts on old stock to make way for new items at the start of the season.
But you should always have a quick shop around first as you might be able to find a similar product cheaper elsewhere.

It comes as shoppers are rushing to buy an 89p Christmas “must have” from The Range, saying it’s perfect for adding the festive touch to your home.
But one mum who can’t stand “cheap and overpowering” Christmas decorations has banned tinsel and bright baubles from her home – saying it’s a “love or hate thing”.
