Strictly’s Karen Hauer looks downcast on live show after ‘split’ from husband as ‘curse’ strikes again
STRICTLY pro Karen Hauer looked downcast on tonight’s live show, minutes after the news broke of her marriage split.
Karen, 41, had to perform with her celebrity partner Eddie Kadi, just over an hour after reports claimed she has separated from her husband of one year, Jordan Wyn-Jones.
And the star appeared distracted as the judges gave their critique following her and Eddie’s dance.
Karen barely cracked a smile after her performance, and fans at home noticed it too.
“Something gone wrong with Eddie and Karen. Her body language,” one fan wrote on X, formerly twitter.
“Heart goes out to Karen, she held herself and dance together after reading her sad news,” wrote another viewer.
“Is it just me or does Karen seem fuming?” a third chipped in.
“Karen did not look impressed tonight,” a fourth commented. “What has happened?”
It wouldn’t have helped that judge Shirley Ballas‘ critique was less than flattering this week, just a week after she awarded the pair with a ten.
“Your feet were flat, you are on the wrong turn in the body, the shape is not good when you are together,” Shirley said, adding that their hold was a “dance disaster”.
It comes as The Mirror reported earlier tonight that Karen’s marriage was over after she and Jordan have gone through a “tough time.”
A source told the publication: “Karen and Jordan have had a tough time in the past few months and decided to split. It’s obviously very sad for both of them.”
The insider added that the break-up was not acrimonious.
They added: “There’s no ill-will whatsoever. The split is amicable, and they wish each other the best.”
