My pumpkin spiced cookies are delicious, healthy and ready in 12 minutes – they’re so soft and gooey
AS Halloween approaches, many of us want to bring the holiday theme into our homes.
One chef said there’s no better way to do that than with her delicious ooey gooey pumpkin spice chocolate chip cookies.
A home chef and TikToker who goes by @apronsnlove has a passion for baking with wholesome ingredients.
And her latest recipe proved that healthy can still be easy and delicious.
She began by mashing a banana in a bowl so that it was creamy and gooey.
For a nutty flavor and smooth consistency, the chef then mixed in almond butter.
And it wouldn’t be a fall dessert if it didn’t have the classic sweet flavor: pumpkin.
She added a dollop of mashed pumpkin and a tablespoon of pumpkin spice for a little kick.
After giving the wet ingredients a good stir, she tossed in oats and chocolate chips to the mix.
“Then pop them in the oven for 12 minutes,” she said in the clip, scooping out balls of her batter onto a baking sheet.
The results were mouthwatering.
“You will have just made the softest, and most delicious pumpkin spice chocolate chip cookies.”
The best part is it’s healthy, as there is no added sugar or flour in the mix.
