DEAR DEIDRE: I’VE fallen head over heels for a girl I met at uni but I don’t know how to tell her how I feel.
She’s 19, I’m a lad of 18 and we met at the uni hockey club.
We hit it off instantly and quickly became good friends.
These days she’s all I think about and I’m desperate to find out if she feels the same.
What if she has a boyfriend? Or even worse, she only sees me as a friend?
Please help. I’m going out of my mind.
Every problem gets a personal reply from one of our trained counsellors.

DEIDRE SAYS: The only way to find out how she feels is to talk to her, but I can understand how daunting this may be.
If you tell her how you feel and she isn’t interested, it may change the friendship.
You could try to develop the friendship, or even ask her on a date, and see if anything changes naturally?
My support pack, Learning To Love, should help you.
