Donald Trump blamed President Joe Biden for Hamas’ deadly attacks on Israel Saturday, claiming the daybreak incursion was funded by U.S. tax dollars.
The Associated Press reported that thousands of rockets were fired into the country, while Hamas fighters moved in on several fronts. The attack left many dead on both sides and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared, “We are at war.”
“These Hamas attacks are a disgrace and Israel has every right to defend itself with overwhelming force," Trump said in a statement.

"Sadly, American taxpayer dollars helped fund these attacks, which many reports are saying came from the Biden Administration.
“We brought so much peace to the Middle East through the Abraham Accords, only to see Biden whittle it away at a far more rapid pace than anyone thought possible. Here we go again."
Newsweek reported that the Biden administration reinstated assistance to Palestine in 2021, though there was no indication that any of it had been used in Hamas’ attacks.
The U.S. also sends financial assistance to Israel.
