MARCUS RASHFORD is facing the axe from the Manchester United line-up after a poor run of form.
The Red Devils star hit a career-best of 30 goals last season.
But the forward, 25, has just one goal so far as United have slumped to five defeats in their last seven games.
Rashford was hauled off early in the last two and could now lose out to Alejandro Garnacho or Anthony Martial for today’s Brentford clash.
Boss Erik ten Hag said: “There is the team and him — and there’s both.
“It’s normal that you are not always right in the same levels.
“Everyone knows his qualities. We’ve seen he is getting in good positions.
“He is struggling but it will pass.
“Everyone at United backs him, the whole team supports him and believes in him. I am sure with that it will change.
“Strikers, when they don’t score for a moment, they need one goal, then they step over.

“It will come. The momentum will come and he will be on fire.”
United will be hoping the likes of Rasmus Hojlund can fire them to a win.
The defensive crisis engulfing United shows no signs of remedying itself, with all three natural left-backs still sidelined.
