Naomi Watts attended the New York City Ballet’s 2023 Fall Fashion Gala held in New York yesterday.
The “Mulholland Drive” star stepped out in a pair of black Leather 80 sandal heels from Carolina Herrera. Retailing for $595, the heel was comprised of a strap-heavy construction that featured glossy patent leather uppers, red soles and rounded toes.
Thick black straps ran across the top of Watts’ feet and around her ankles threaded through black buckle closures. 3 to 4 inch stilettos rounded out the set. Strappy sandals are an extremely versatile style beloved by many celebrities.
Turning heads, Watts was outfitted in a black bell-shaped gown, also from Carolina Herrera. The garment stopped above the ankles and was crafted of sparkling black tweed trimmed with coordinating black tulle. Rounding out her look, the British thespian toted a rectangular black clutch with an emerald green closure worn with a variety of dazzling pieces of jewelry. Watts’ short blonde tresses were straightened and parted down the middle, framing her features.
When it comes to fashion, Watts is always dressed to impress on and off the red carpet. She has a perpetually chic and classic style. She knows how to merge super-glam designers with laidback attainable separates.
Countering her wardrobe’s high opulence are wearable pieces designed by Zimmerman, Miu Miu, Magda Butrym and The Vampire’s Wife. As for footwear, Watts tends to gravitate towards loafers, block-heeled sandals, sneakers and a variety of pumps.
The New York City Ballet’s 2023 Fall Fashion Gala was held at the David H. Koch Theater, Lincoln Center on Oct. 5.
