The Delhi government plans to deploy 200 anti-smog guns as part of its anti-dust campaign starting October 9. The guns, which will be mounted on CNG trucks, will spray water up to a height of 50 meters to address the problem of dust pollution. Contractors who fail to provide the required number of guns will face penalties, and drivers, supervisors, and operators must be in uniform. The government launched a 15-point action plan earlier to mitigate air pollution in the city during winter.
