Giovani Lo Celso has been named in the Argentina squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers despite not being fully fit yet.
Tottenham have had to deal with a whole host of injuries over recent weeks, with Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic now out with long-term injuries while Brennan Johnson is out of action for a few more weeks (The Evening Standard).
Meanwhile, Ryan Sessegnon has been sidelined since the start of pre-season with a hamstring injury while Rodrigo Bentancur is continuing his rehabilitation from the ACL injury he picked up back in February.
With James Maddison and Son Heung-min also playing through some minor issues recently (The Athletic), Ange Postecoglou would be hoping that Giovani Lo Celso is back in action soon.
Tottenham revealed a couple of days ago that the 27-year-old is out training on the field at Hotspur Way as he steps up his rehabilitation.

Surprisingly, Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni has now named the midfielder in the Albiceleste squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Peru despite the fact that the Spurs man has not kicked a ball for well over a month.

Spurs Web Opinion
We have seen in the past that Scaloni is certainly not shy of pushing players to play even if they are not 100 per cent fit. So, there is a very real chance that he will use Lo Celso in one of the two games, which might not please Postecoglou and Spurs.
