APC Manchester has launched the first of two electric vans in its fleet as part of a sustainability drive.
The all-electric Ford E-Transits are the start of the business’ strategy to replace its entire fleet with EVs over the coming months; it also announced plans to install six charging stations at its Trafford Park site.
Quentin Abel, one of the founding members of The APC network and APC Manchester MD, said: “The launch of these EVs allows us to continue providing excellent service to customers in a more sustainable way, across the region.
“Our investment into EVs is just part of our continued commitment to making Manchester a green and clean place to live and work.”
Jonathan Smith, chief executive at APC Overnight, added: “APC Manchester is a genuine example of a business that leads by example, and one that is committed to contributing positively to local businesses and its local community.”
