Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reviewed the security situation in Naxal-affected states, where violent incidents have decreased by 77% in 2022 compared to 2010. The meeting was attended by the chief ministers of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Jharkhand, as well as representatives from other states. Shah expressed determination to eradicate Naxalism, and officials stated that there has been significant improvement in the security situation over the last five years.
