Sainsbury’s homeware sale just got even better with fancy dinner candles scanning for just 50p at the till
SAINSBURY’S viral homeware sale has gotten ever better for candle lovers.
Now, trendy twisted candles – which are perfect for dinner parties and setting ambiance in the dining room – have been reduced to 50p per candle.
Shoppers have been taking to social media over the last few weeks to boast about the bargains they’ve sourced in the supermarket’s homeware sale.
Yesterday, Gemma Broadey took to Facebook to share what she found in her local Sainsbury’s – twisted dinner candles reduced by 75%.
The Habitat Unscented Twisted Dinner Candles have been reduced to £2 for a four pack – making them 50p a pop.
The candles come in muted and pastel shades of pink, light green, purple and forest green.
They are made from paraffin wax and have seven hours of burn time.
“Whether you’re having a dinner party or a romantic meal for two, these candles will set the mood,” Habitat bosses said.
“You get four in a pack, each in a different colour. And the tapered ends fit easily into a candelabra.
“These candles are unscented, so ideal for creating a subtle ambiance without any overpowering scents. And the seven-hour burn time means they’ll last through till dusk.”
Another shopper took to Facebook’s Extreme Couponing and Bargains group to share her £1 bargains.
She picked up NINE AirWick products for just £1 each.
Among these were reed diffusers, plug-in scents and air fresheners.
The only catch is that the bargains are only available in store, with Sainsbury’s reducing the twisted candles to £2.40 online.
If you’re a parent looking for bargains ahead of Christmas, a trip to your local Sainsbury’s may be in order next week.
The supermarket is set to launch a huge toy sale on October 11 till October 24.
It’s expected that shoppers will be able to get discounts on popular brands like Barbie, Hot Wheels, Lego and Playmobil.
