Christina Aguilera Hosts Climate Reality Project Event in Shiny Silver Amina Muaddi Sandals
Christina Aguilera hosted a Climate Reality Project event at her home in Los Angeles alongside her fiancé, Matthew Rutler. The event addressed the urgent need to handle climate change and emphasized the power of collective action. Beyond Aguilera, other attendees at the event included Kesha and Hayley Kiyoko among others.
For the occasion, the “Genie In A Bottle” singer sported a pair of striking silver Gilda sandal heels courtesy of Amina Muaddi. The sandal heels featured shiny silver uppers and a strap-heavy construction that was dappled with dazzling crystals.
The straps of Aguilera’s sandals wrapped around her ankles, threaded through buckle closures, and across the tops of her toes, securing the footwear in place. The set was finished off with arched leather soles and clear heels 4.5-inch heels featuring pyramid-shaped bottoms, a Muaddi design staple. Sandal heels, Amina Muaddi or not, are a wardrobe staple for many stars, including Aguilera.
Outfitted luxuriously, the performer donned a yellow-gold velvet Vivienne Westwood gown. The garment was form-fitted and long, featuring a strappy cowl neckline and pocket detailing on the back stamped with the British brand’s signature orb logo. The designer dress was layered underneath a lengthy black coat. The hitmaker’s long blond tresses were styled in a flattering side part, set in voluminous curls that framed her features perfectly.
On the footwear front, the “Dirrty” singer is no stranger to a bold set of shoes. Aguilera favors boots, sandals and pumps with at least 4-inch heels by Gianvito Rossi, Amina Muaddi and Balenciaga for appearances over the years. She also has a penchant for giving her outfits a sporty boost with thigh-high boots, sandals and chunky sneakers by Yeezy, Nike and Gina Shoes when off-duty. Aguilera notably has a collection of Christian Louboutin pumps in her boudoir-themed closet as well, serving as a muse to the French footwear designer.
