KUWAIT: Kuwait Triathlon Federation and Club Athletes continued their winning ways as Abdullah Al-Refae and Saleh Al-Muhaini qualified for the World “middle distance – ½ Ironman” Championship to be held in December 2024 in New Zealand, as they bagged 4th and 7th places during the championship that was held in Salalah, Oman.
President of Kuwait Triathlon Federation and Club Rashid Al-Kandary congratulated Al-Refae and Al-Muhaini for this achievement which proves Kuwaiti Triathlon Athletes abilities when they participate abroad. He said “this achievement is the result of hard work of the athletes, technical and administrative departments and care of the board of directors.
Al-Kandary lauded the efforts of the Public Authority for Sport and Kuwait Olympic Committee in supporting the game and removing all obstacles in order to establish a suitable sports ground for Kuwaiti players to perform at high levels abroad.
