FOOTBALL fans were left baffled as VAR didn’t appear to bother drawing the offside lines as they ruled out Luis Diaz’s goal.
The Liverpool forward thought he had put the Reds in front at Tottenham.
But the assistant’s flag went up to chalk it off.
Replays, though, appeared to show Cristian Romero level with Diaz.
However, after a brief stoppage, the goal was ruled out.
It is understood VAR looked at the goal but the lines to prove whether or not Diaz was onside did not show on the screen.
And that prompted a furious reaction from many watching Sky Sports at home.
