AMY Dowden has been filmed dancing again after hinting at a Strictly return amid her cancer battle.
The Strictly Come Dancing professional, 33, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in May.
The Welsh star later revealed a second cancer was found in her body following a mastectomy in June.
She has since undergone chemotherapy treatment and earlier this week revealed that she decided to shave her head to “take control”.
Yesterday Amy took to Instagram to share a video of her doing what she loves the most – dancing with her friends and family.
She captioned the post: “When @diannebuswell sends you reel ideas!
“Fair play dad @richard_dowden you steal the show here with your performance and energy #showman!
“This brought so much fun to the day! As dancing always does.”
Many rushed to the comments section to share the love.
Strictly co-star Dianne said: “yessssssss look at you all .”
Former Strictly star Stacey Dooley added: “.”
Neil Jones chimed in: “@amy_dowden you are a real life superhero and I’m sorry but your dad is everything .”
It comes after Amy hinted at a Strictly return although fans thought she was going to miss the current series because of her diagnosis.
Before the first live show on Saturday, Amy took to Instagram to wish the stars good luck.
She said: “Happy live show day @bbcstrictly wishing the entire team a fabulous show and I know it’s going to be amazing!
“I’ve been kept up to date with the pros and a few sneaky FaceTimes! Literally can’t wait to watch and support you all.
“Hopefully I’ll be there in a few weeks .”
Strictly viewers were very moved as the first dance of the series on September 16.
Before the live show last year, the four famous judges and the rest of the cast dedicated their routine to Amy.
Host Tess Daly said: “We are of course missing one of our professional dancers, our gorgeous Amy Dowden is unwell and she can’t be with us for the start of the series.
“She’s our Welsh dragon and we know she’ll be back soon.”
While Claudia said: “Amy, from your entire Strictly family we are sending all our love and we can’t wait to have you back on the dancefloor.”
