When it comes to what’s next for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a few things are certain. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are exploring joint and individual ventures, while also focusing on their young family. But one element from their rebrand that’s reportedly not happening is this major move quite a few other a-list celebs have made in the past.
Despite some speculation and rumors, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not planning to forgo their Montecito home for Malibu, according to Page Six. “There is no truth to them moving to Malibu or anywhere,” a spokesperson for the couple told the outlet. Malibu’s become a hot spot for a number of celebrities and stars. No wonder — it’s a lot closer to Los Angeles than Montecito.

But it seems like Harry and Meghan definitely have their home base. And given just how young their two children are — Prince Archie is 4, while Princess Lilibet is just 2 — it’s no wonder the couple would much rather remain in their current abode as their two little ones grow up. A move just doesn’t seem to make sense right now. After all, Meghan and Harry have been traveling quite a bit these last several months.
The couple was recently in Düsseldorf, Germany, celebrating the 2023 Invictus Games and Harry’s 39th birthday. The last few months have been a whirlwind for the couple. Why pack up and add a new stress like moving? Given all that the couple has going on right now, moving to a new city just doesn’t seem like it’s in the cards.
